Waterloo station has got the largest number of escalators. 25 together with 2 moving pavements (Travelators) which are serving at Waterloo & City line (Waterloo - Bank) connections.

Waterloo and Bank are bonding well with this so called "The Drain" connection. They're arguing, teasing each other all the time but that's the way of their communication, which shows how close they are. :D

Trick AND treat!!

Happy Happy Halloween!!!
Now stations are also celebrating it in their fancy dress!
From the left : Oxford Circus as Lady Jane Grey, Leicester Sq. as Jiangshi, Tottenham C.R. as an werewolf!
They're coming to yours tonight...

Trick or Treat?

Happy Halloween from the rarely appearing corroborator Chie! Well, maybe most of you forget about me, but I'm still here!
In Japan, we call you a "ghost member" if you are belong to a club or something but rarely appearing at its meeting and not active. Yes, I am a proud ghost member of GoGo Metro! and a ghost shows up when it's Halloween!! Yay!

I hope you enjoy my little picture of the little St. Pancras International crying on the arms of an unidentified man...
If you are wondering who he is, he is a new character Farringdon! The bottom image is the initial character design sketch of him.
Quite often he hides his identity with this mask. He loves eating meat and he's got a pet mouse. During daytime he's stock trading via internet at home (he won't go out under bright day light) and at night he's clubbing. He is basically cool (maybe a bit cold even lol)but weird guy...!

Noisy visitors

* MASTER GILL - Eric Gill. A British sculptor, typeface designer. Gill had collaborated with
Edward Johnston in the early design of the Underground typeface, but dropped
out of the project before it was completed.

The sculpture of Prospero and Ariel from Shakespeare’s The Tempest by Eric Gill is over the entrance of BBC Broadcasting House near Oxford Circus. It was said that the sculptor had emphasised Ariel's reproductive organ beyond necessity, later Gill modified the size...

One sunny day at a riverbank

Embankment & Victoria have a garden and its called "Victoria Embankment Garden".
And this is located just next to Embankment station. Great place for picnic.

Those who not live in London, please put your favorite music on and go to a 360 degree tour on City of Westminster Website.

... by the way, Embankment and his brother Charing X changed their name too many times to the point no one remembers how to address them correctly anymore. XD

My best... fiend?

Let's see what Leicester Square and his friends are  are up to!

Special Thanks for my fellow artist,  Zarina Liew !!

My best fiend?

The shortest distance between adjacent stations is between Leicester Square station and Covent Garden station, only 0.16 miles (1.25km / 285 yards), so it's quicker to walk rather than taking Piccadilly line to access to each other.
The closest stations.

...Whether they like it or not...

The two completely different characters have been live side by side since 1907.
Leicester is very much fond of films while Covent G is enjoying Operas.
Sometimes get into an quarrel, sometimes enjoy their companies, the unlike duo has woven
their histories.

Oxford Circus and her garments

We can say she is the centre of the town, really.
Her grand entrance always brings colourful lights everywhere. Her clothing is based on the special snakes-and-ladders tiles at her platform.
As one of the oldest and busiest stations, she appears like everyone's big sister. Especially the combination with Tottenham C.T. is hilarious and funny!

Covent Garden in Colour

Most of time the stations' clothing are based on their platform tiling. Here you can see the Covent Garden's colouring plan is also taken from his actual tiling.
His dark blur shoes are - of cause - the symbol colour of Piccadilly Line!

Justice! Justice! Covent Garden!

The man of justice, Covent Garden - here he comes!
An ex convent veg & fruit garden & market, now became a famous tourism spot.
He's wearing a mixed design clothing of Punch & Judy and Bow street runner - the first official police team.
His charms come out when he's with Leicester Square, the best friend and fiend.
